The Beginning
This is where our stories were before they met.
We were introduced when I, Ridhika, hosted my 40th birthday party. Ashish was catering the event. From the very first meeting, there was an unexplainable warmth. It felt familiar, as though we already knew each other, even though we didn’t.
After the party, I called Ashish to personally thank him for the food and service. Before hanging up, I casually said, “If I ever decide to start working, I’ll give you a call.” We laughed and life moved on.
Over time, I continued to work with Ashish for different events. Then one day, I finally made that call. I told him I wanted to start something in the North. When we sat down to talk, it became clear that we were searching for the same thing. He wanted a legacy to call his own. I wanted a purpose to call my own.
Together, we found both in Samma.

About The Founders
I’m an alumnus of IHM Aurangabad and I spent fifteen years building and running a hospitality company. Over time, despite my dedication, I felt I wasn’t getting the recognition or growth I deserved. That’s when I knew it was time to build something of my own, something I could truly stand behind.
For fifteen years, I was a homemaker. When I turned forty, something shifted. Life suddenly felt stagnant. I had a beautiful family and a comfortable home, yet it didn’t feel like enough. I know that might sound ungrateful to some, but it was my truth. I felt a deep need to do more with my life, a drive that went far beyond just earning money.
